Anguilla is an island located across the channel from St. Martin/St. Marteen. It has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The water is crystal clear and warm and the beaches are pure white sand. There are many interesting restaurants and hotels. Scily Cay is a nice Sunday destination. There is a small restaurant there which is frequented by the locals as well as movie stars and singers.
Anguilla is a flat, low-lying island of coral and limestone in the Caribbean Sea. It is approximately 16 miles long by 3 miles wide. The soil is generally thin and poor, supporting only scrub vegetation. Anguilla is noted for its spectacular and ecologically important coral reefs. Apart from the main island of Anguilla itself, the territory includes a number of other smaller islands.
